Health Bill Going Through Minnesota House of Congress Right NOW!!!!

There has been so much talk about the new Health Reform Bill, did anyone realize there is a bill going through the MN House right now!!! There is a bill moving through the Minnesota House right now that attempts to deal with the problem of pre-existing conditions when attempting to purchase insurance.

The Bill that Obama signed is rally all I've heard about. I must say am a little surprised that the Government can soon fine us, if we don't have health insurance. Martha Sommerfeld, likes the bill for the most part. Not too long ago when her husband was laid off work they were denied by Blue Plus because of their pre-existing conditions. Judy Meyers really dislikes the bill she said "Just another way to cut into our constitutional rights".

Senator Perry was very kind to let me know his thoughts on the issue. He believe's that there are people who like the health system the way it is right now, and people who like the reform. He also said that it should be left up to the states. It goes into the tenth amendment.

Wikipedia.com listed:
The Tenth Amendment (Amendment X) of the United States Constitution, which is part of the Bill of Rights, was ratified on December 15, 1791. The Tenth Amendment restates the Constitution's principle of federalism by providing that powers not granted to the national government nor prohibited to the states by the constitution of the United States are reserved to the states or the people.

  1. Good post! Definitely a news-worthy topic and I'm surprised we haven't heard more about it. I am definitely on the side of Senator Perry.
